Jayson is one of three sons of Yuma Tsuchiya, the original founder of Silicon Valley Piano and Yamaha Peninsula. He is committed to continuing Yuma Tsuchiya's legacy by offering top quality pianos and providing the best and personalized service to all customers.

土屋光子

Natalie is one of our store bookkeepers, and the newest edition to our team! She has quickly become a valuable asset to our accounting department. When you vist our store, you'll get to see her beautiful smile and experience her willingness to help you! When she's not crunching numbers you can find her baking up delicious treats, finishing up a puzzle, or catching up on her reading.

Justin is one of our excellent and dedicated team of piano technicians. He works both in-store and remotely for SVP. Justin is a practicing piano technician with over 4 years of experience in the Bay Area, who has learned from the masters of the craft at Bechstein, Bösendorfer and many others. He is currently enrolled as a student of the Butler School of Piano Technology and an apprenticeship program with a local RPT technician.

Joshua is a great asset to SVP. He pays attention to every piano part and component to make sure that your instrument is in tip-top condition. He got much of his buffing and polishing skills through detailing high performance automobiles.

Stan has been a piano technician for 32 years. He graduated from the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology as a piano technician. He has attended many other piano technology workshops and courses, and has been certified by the Piano Technician’s Guild as an RPT. He has tuned, repaired and rebuilt pianos, and taught courses in piano technology.

As a piano technician with many years of experience, Randall has both the technical and musical skills to provide excellence in the care and refinement of your piano. He received his training at Western Iowa Tech, in Sioux City, IA, which laid the groundwork for his dedication to his profession. Because his craft is his passion, Randall stands with confidence behind his work. Your satisfaction is his great pleasure.

Jun Ye began apprenticing with a professional piano technician in the Bay Area in 2009, then joined SVP in 2021. She tunes our pianos all over the valley and in-store as needed. Attentive and dedicated at her work, she possesses high standards. She actively attends PTG coventions to continue her professional growth, and recently participated in training for C. Bechstein Concert Service, Tips & Techniques for Grand Regulation, and more.

Brian has worked with Silicon Valley Piano since 2017. As a member of the Piano Technicians Guild, he regularly travels to advance his training at the C. Bechstein Technicians' Academy in Germany, and as an authorized service technician for Steinway & Sons, New York. Brian often tunes for concert artists across Northern California. He is also a graduate student, wrapping up an MBA from CSU Monterey Bay as he begins an M.Eng program in Acoustics through Penn State University.

Norio is originally from Japan and has over 45 years of experience in piano tuning and repair. He has experience in all piano brands, notably Yamaha, C. Bechstein, Steinway, and Bösendorfer. He is also a well-known Concert Tuner and has provided his service for famous artists such as: Stevie Wonder, Billie Eilish, Dave Brubeck, Herbie Hancock, Norah Jones, and more!

Steven graduated from Yokohama Piano Vocational School (橫浜ピアノ調律學院) in Japan in 1988 and has more than 35 years of professional piano tuning, maintenance and repair experience. Before moving to the Bay Area, he was the preferred piano technician at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and Tom Lee Music Store in Hong Kong. He has also worked for Yamaha Peninsula Piano Company in the United States.

Robert has been a piano technician for 14 years and is certified by the Piano Technicians Guild as a Registered Piano Technician. He enjoys serving clients throughout the Bay Area Peninsula.
